WALTER SCOTT DILK:

Walter is a proud single father, a full time student and works a full time job in behavioral health. From the very beginning Walter has shown his support in many ways. He and his daughter, Aurora, have built and painted sets. Also, he has played four different characters- two of which were very important rolls. He paid his entire way to go on location to the Oregon Dunes and delivered a memorable performance. While acting his daughter would run slate. When playing Grenn- a cosmic hit man for a pharmaceutical company- he shaved his head.
With an insane schedule and mountain of responsibilities Walter made the time so that he could help make SPACED OUT a reality. As with all our actors and crew- he wasn't paid a dime. In some instances he even flipped the bill. His positive energy, intelligence and creative spirit have been one of the many reasons to give this man props.

PROPS

No movie belongs to one single person- not the director or writers or producers. It belongs to everyone involved: cast and crew. It is an art form that combines other art forms and many artists- each add their unique fingerprint to the project. Here we give PROPS to special individuals that have gone above and beyond to help make SPACED OUT.

This week we are giving props to TODD HOTIS. Todd is an American Veteran who served as a Rough Rider for  twenty years. He has fought for this country and was even awarded the Purple Heart. Todd has done so much to make Spaced Out happen.  He turned his downstairs basement into an alien hookah bar and built a bathroom set in his laundry room. Travelling from Tacoma to Shelton he helped build our cockpit set for the oil tanker and played an extra in several scenes. He has been a remarkable host putting up with disgusting make up- clogging his bathroom drains and staining his towels- Todd has always kept his cool. Several times he’s barbequed for the entire cast and crew.

Whether playing an extra alien, building a set, or roasting a delicious venison steak… Todd has been an incredible asset! A jack of all trades!! So a Jack Asset- if you will. Thanks Todd!!!

TODD HOTIS

Brinnon is a 4 year old long hair miniature dachshund. His owner is Jenny Middleton. Jenny has owned Brinnon since he was 8 weeks old and works actively with all of dogs in regular obedience training. Brinnon's favorite activity is playing fetch and wrestling with his dachshund brother, Fender. Jenny is the Dachshund Breed Rep for Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. SPDR works with all dog breeds to rehome dogs surrendered by their owners and that come into area shelters as strays. If you are interested in adopting a new member to your family you can view available dogs on their website www.spdrdogs.org.

JENNY & BRINNON MIDDLETON

This movie has required so many different contributions. W.C. Fields once said: "Never work with animals or children." However, watching Jenny work with her dog Brinnon on a series of difficult shots was more fun than work. In one shot he was required to run pass a tasty cheeseburger sitting on the floor. This was not easy but after fifteen minutes the little fella had it down.
