SPACED OUT: An Intergalactic Crime Saga​

Welcome to the SPACED OUT: THE MOVIE homepage! Now you maybe asking yourself, "What the hell is this movie about?? What are these weirdos up to??? It looks unsafe and perverted!!" Okay, just settle down and take a nice, cleansing breath. Our here's overall goal: to make a indie sci-fi action comedy that would pay homage to all of our favorite sci-fiction movies, comics, media and other pop-culture phenomenon.

All movies go through three important phases:

PRE-PRODUCTION:
Sam Hawkins and David Caulfield, the creators of Spaced Out: An Intergalactic Crime Saga, finished the script in June 2011. It's an epic tale about five antiheroes who's criminal activities collide with caustic effects on their universe.
The next three months were spent casting and finding locations. They also needed to find the right crew. The hope was to form an ensemble that could work intensely close for over a year.

PRODUCTION:
We started production in November of 2011 in a sleazy motel and finished production in September 2012. All the cast and crew where only paid in $1.00 cheeseburgers, ham sandwiches and the occasional beer. We all had to balanced out our work, school and family schedules to accomplish our goals. We don't know how but a miracle occurred and the actors formed a perfect ensemble of unknowns that each give amazing performances.

POST PRODUCTION:
Now that the production phase is over we are now focused on Post Production. This includes, but not limited to: Log and capturing and labeling and editing over 80 hours of footage. It's putting models together for all the space ships and flying cars and various other special effects. We need a good after effects person(s) to assist in the many special effects. All the music, sound effects and over all score needs to be created and polished. We also need to produce the DVD's and prepare for the film festival circuit As we forge ahead we are looking individuals who are interested in letting us exploit your talents.
